Ulimwengu aondoka TP Mazembe

MSHAMBULIAJI wa kimataifa wa Tanzania, Thomas Ulimwengu, ameachana rasmi na klabu ya TP Mazembe ya Jamhuri ya Kidemokrasia ya Congo (DRC), baada ya mkataba wake wa miaka mitano kumalizika.

Mchezaji huyo aliyekuwa akivalia jezi namba 28, alianza kuichezea TP Mazembe tangu akiwa na umri wa miaka 18 akitokea AFC Academy ya Stockholm nchini Sweden, ambapo tangu ajiunge na timu hiyo, Ulimwengu amecheza michezo 130 na kufunga mabao 35.

Kwa mujibu wa taarifa maalumu iliyotolewa kwenye mtandao wa klabu hiyo, imeelezwa kuwa mshambuliaji huyo ameamua kuanza kufuatilia ofa mbalimbali kutoka klabu za Ulaya.

Imeelezwa kuwa TP Mazembe walifanya jitihada za kutaka kumuongezea mkataba mpya lakini alikataa kufanya mazungumzo, huku akisisitiza huu  ni muda mwafaka wa kufuata nyayo za Mtanzania mwenzake, Mbwana Samatta, anayekipiga katika klabu ya Genk ya nchini Ubelgiji, kwani timu nyingi zilimhitaji lakini alitaka kumaliza mkataba wake.

Kocha wa timu hiyo, Herbet Velud, alielezea kuhuzunishwa na kitendo cha Ulimwengu kuondoka, huku akidai kuwa hawezi kumlaumu kwani anaelewa kiu na ndoto zake za kusonga mbele ingawa alikuwa ni muhimu ndani ya kikosi.

“Katika kipindi chote, Ulimwengu alicheza kwa kiwango kizuri na kuiletea mafanikio TP Mazembe, hivyo namtakia mafanikio zaidi huko mbeleni,” alisema Velud.

Kwa upande wake Ulimwengu kabla ya kuondoka Lubumbashi, alituma ujumbe wa kuiaga klabu yake akieleza kuwa kwa kipindi cha miaka mitano, TP Mazembe imemwezesha kukua na kuwashukuru wote waliomuunga mkono.

“Ninawashukuru wote walioniunga mkono na kunisaidia kushinda mataji, pia nawashukuru sana Rais Moses Katumbi na Bi Carine, viongozi, makocha na mashabiki, ninaamini TP Mazembe itanyakua taji la Kombe la Shirikisho Afrika, asanteni sana,” alisema Ulimwengu.

  1. “Thanks for your submission. I also think that laptop computers are becoming more and more popular these days, and now will often be the only form of computer employed in a household. This is due to the fact that at the same time they are becoming more and more inexpensive, their working power is growing to the point where there’re as strong as personal computers coming from just a few years back.”
